On Thursday evening, a private view for a new exhibition curated by Jefferson Hack and Emma Reeves, opened at Somerset House. The evening marked the launch of a new book which, like the exhibition, celebrates 20 years of Dazed and Confused magazine. Dazed co-founders, Jefferson Hack and Rankin, were joined by Kate Moss and R.E.M’s Michael Stipe. To see more of my images from the event click here.

Following the exhibition, the after party kicked off at W Hotel in Leicester Square. Attendees included DJ Jodie Harsh and Pixie Geldof.

Another commission by Dazed Digital had me photographing artist/comedian/actor Noel Fielding. With the recent launch of his new art book, “The Scribblings of a Madcap Shambleton” Dazed met up with Noel to find out what it’s all about.

Richard Parry has won the ‘Converse/Dazed Emerging Artist’s Award. Richard was announced the winner on Saturday night at the Whitechapel Gallery. Jefferson Hack, co-founder of Dazed & Confused, attended the event. To see my images on Dazed Digital, click here.

Professional Photographer magazine is currently running their annual PPOTY (Professional Photographer of the Year) Awards. An image of mine has been selected as one of their favourite entries to date, and is published in the latest issue.

For those interested, the image was taken with a Leica M9 and Summilux-M 24mm f/1.4 ASPH. The camera was tripod mounted and set to ISO 800, f/4, with an exposure time of 24 seconds. Contrary to popular belief, the lens flare around the man’s head was not added in Photoshop!
